Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the charming Phandar Valley Pakistan
One thing is very famous in Phandar Valley that when Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif came to Phandar during his previous tenure, seeing its beauty and charm, he said that his heart wants me to build my house here. Now the Phandars are proud to tell other people that our Phandars are so beautiful that even Nawaz Sharif wants to live here and build his own house. I asked different people where they want to build their house and one person said that they want to build their house on this small island in front of the river while another person pointed to the other side of the river. Is this the place where Mian Sahib wants to build his house? Anyway, my heart used to wish I could build a small house by the river here, but in the long and icy weather it will be difficult for us.
It is not difficult to reach these valleys and spend time here. There is a small market in Harwadi here, everything you need is easily available, there are also hotels. However, if you are getting back in your car, you have to be a good driver and in some places the road has been swallowed up by the floods. And every year the floods continue to plague the people of these areas. On the contrary, sometimes it brings great catastrophe as the entire Chitral Valley was badly damaged in 2015, but the people here are very brave and lively. They become super brave in the face of these floods, rebuild roads, rebuild houses and live their lives happily.
